A return to European football will see at least another six games added to Eddie Howe’s Magpies’ calendar next season, with three of those guaranteed to be at home. It could well be more should United finish in the top three of their Champions League group, with the top two going through the the last 16 of the competition, while third place drops into the Europa League.
And, as a result, there is a desire to recruit yet more matchday stewards and turnstile operators, to deal with the increased volume of fixtures.

Attendees will be asked to complete an application form and will undergo a short interview for the post. If successful, applicants must then be available on July 15 for an induction course and then again from July 22 onwards for training days.
Matchday stewards must be over the age of 18 and will be required to pass a DBS check. Relevant role training will be provided.
