Fortunately for Newcastle United, they’re fully up-to-date with just Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Burnley left to play this season.
Ten wins in 2022 - form better only by Jurgen Klopp’s title-chasing Reds, has seen the Magpies surge up to ninth position in the table.
The team below United, Leicester City, have played two matches less, while Wolves in 8th are one game behind Eddie Howe’s side.

Of course, finishing in the top half has never been the aim for United this campaign, especially given they were in a relegation battle only a few weeks ago. But certainly, finishing anywhere near, would be a huge testament to the job Howe has carried out on Tyneside.
