Ten wins in 2022 - form better only by Jurgen Klopp’s title-chasing Reds, has seen the Magpies surge up to ninth position in the table.
The team below United, Leicester City, have played two matches less, while Wolves in 8th are one game behind Eddie Howe’s side.
