It has been an exciting summer for Newcastle fans, with the club investing significantly in new signings, as expected.

There are plenty of new faces at St James’ Park, including marquee capture Sven Botman, and we could yet see more.

Plenty of time remains in the summer window, and we could see more business done at St James’ Park.

With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours concerning the Magpies:

Isak interest

Newcastle are said to be considering a move for Real Sociedad star Alexander Isak.

The Swedish frontman has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the past, but The Athletic say it is the Magpies who are now considering a move.

It’s reported Newcastle are discussing Isak internally as they continue their chase for a frontman, missing out on Huge Ekitike.

The big problem is that Isak has a release clause of around £75million, and it’s not likely Real Sociedad will sell him for anything less than £60million.

The Magpies are said to be battling it out with Chelsea to sign Southampton youngster Tyler Dibling.

The England under-16 international is said to be the latest gem to come out of the Saints academy, and Football Insider, say Chelsea and Newcastle are interested.

Southampton would be due compensation should Dibling leave.

Hendrick departs

Hendrick has moved on to join Reading on a season-long loan deal, unlikely to see game time again this season following a loan spell with QPR.

The Ireland international will now spend the season in the Championship after the deal was announced on Tuesday.
