The must-see photos from Newcastle United’s 1-0 victory over Chelsea at St James’ Park.

When will this end? Hopefully never is the answer as Newcastle United cemented a place in the Premier League top four ahead of the World Cup break.

The 1-0 win against Chelsea was the Magpies’ fifth straight win, one that extends their unbeaten run to 10 matches and maintains their position in third.

Eddie Howe said it himself, night games at St James’ Park are extra special, and Saturday - a 5:30pm kick-off - turned out to be another memorable evening.

“I thought it was a very, very good performance from us tonight, a really high-level game, I thought, between two very good teams, Howe said.

“Night games here are always very special occasions and tonight didn’t disappoint.”

Something special is building at Newcastle United, a feeling not many can describe. Supporters are proud, and hugely excited about what might be to come.
