The experts are predicting a resounding win for Newcastle United at St James’ Park later today. Eddie Howe’s men produced a dismal performance in midweek - losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace to surrender their advantage in the Europa League race.

Three days on, the Magpies have a chance to set the record straight against the Premier League’s rock-bottom side. Sheffield United arrive on Tyneside knowing anything but a win would see them relegated.

Newcastle brushed aside the Blades 8-0 in September and a repeat of those heroics would be unanimously welcomed by the Toon faithful. With Manchester United hosting Burnley, only a win would be acceptable for the Magpies as they aim to kick-start their Europa League bid.
