Newcastle United are bracing themselves for what could be an exciting summer transfer window.
The window, which opens in just over a week, will be the club’s first under their new, wealthy owners, and significant signings are expected.

New signings can help him and his side achieve that, but Financial Fair Play regulations won’t make it easy.
Newcastle will have to be clever in their additions, unable to simply splash the cash to become the next Manchester City overnight.
And that should make for a rather intense summer for Howe and his staff.

Almiron latest
Miguel Almiron’s agent has issued an update on his client’s future amid exit links.
“There are always rumours about players in the transfer market,” he told Versus Radio.
“However, we don’t have any definitive interest shown by any club. Usually, the clubs negotiate within themselves but don’t contact the agent.

Rabiot opportunity
Newcastle have been named as one of the front-runners in the race to sign Juventus star Adrien Rabiot this summer.
Rabiot has been named as one of the players who could be sold this summer by Corriere Dello Sport, who say Max Allegri could opt to rebuild his squad.
The report adds that Chelsea and Newcastle are the two teams in ‘pole’ position to complete a deal.
Rabiot is still only 27 years of age, and it’s reported he could be sold for less than £13million.
That could make the Frenchman a very good option for the Magpies.
