"Anthony [Gordon] should be fine; he has trained this week. It was a thigh problem, but he has responded well to treatment over the weekend.

Sven Botman was withdrawn with a knee issue in Newcastle’s 2-0 Carabao Cup semi-final second leg win over Arsenal, forcing him to miss the trip to Birmingham three days later.
