Newcastle are ‘keeping tabs’ on Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker Daichi Kamada, according to a report by 90min. The Japan international is being linked with a move away from the Bundesliga at the end of this season and doesn’t appear to be short of potential options.

Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona, PSG and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be in the frame for his signature so there is plenty of competition. The 26-year-old, who is a Japan international with 26 caps under his belt, helped his current club win the Europa League last year after they beat Rangers in the final.

Four players available

The Toon Army will ‘listen’ to offers for Ryan Fraser, Matt Ritchie, Jamaal Lascelles and Jamal Lewis this summer, as per Football Insider. The quartet are all believed to be out of favour with the North East club and could move on when this campaign is over.

Newcastle are on course to be playing in Europe next term so would need all the squad depth they could have. However, Fraser, Ritchie, Lascelles and Lewis could depart to pave the way for some more big money arrivals.
