Forget the ‘kit leaks’ - this is what Newcastle United’s kits for 2025/26 will actually look like.

Kit leaks are becoming big business in the modern world. Various accounts online and across social media use the opportunity of the slightest potential kit leak to rake in the clicks, views and ultimately revenue. What those users are essentially doing is using piqued interest in the next new shiny shirt from football fans, to line their own pockets. At NewcastleWorld, we’re not about that game at all.

Here we only give you info on things we actually know about - and it just so happens, one of those things is the new Adidas Newcastle United shirts. And even though you may have liked or disliked the new ‘leaked’ offering, we can confirm, it’s not right, as seen below.

So while we can’t share any fresh images of the kits, we can talk you through exactly what to expect from the trio of new kits - with the supposed third one a potential wallet buster for supporters. Printing money, as the kids may say. Here’s a run down of what they all look like, starting with the black and white home shirt.

Newcastle United home shirt 2025/26 - a classic with hints of blue

The new home shirt will have similarities with the current home shirt for 2024/25 - but won’t be much like the ‘leak’ doing the rounds. The key difference with this kit is the piping on the collar and sides - it has blue on it, a nod to Adidas, and Puma, offerings of old. The stripes, rather than being a fade, have a subtle fabric pattern engrained in them and there is a stitching pattern detail merging the black and white. This design is going to be available in the usual short sleeve, but with a long sleeve option.

As Newcastle fans have become accustomed to it, even though it is far from a traditional United colour, the change kit this year will again revert to green. Since the takeover by PIF, the Magpies have alternated between green and white - and having done the retro white one last season, it’s green’s turn this time around.

It’s an all Saudi green number, with white crests and logos on the kit. There is some darker green horizontal stripes arching across to the shirt and the whole thing is finished off with white on the collar and sides. A reverse of the above image, if you will.

Look the original was far from an all-timer, I absolutely hated it then, and don’t like it at all much now. But this one, I get the sense, could change all of that. With a real nod to the colour scheme of the lesser spotted 1997/98 away kit, I think a lot of fans will want to get their hands on this one, especially as it has a trefoil Adidas badge.

This third offering is an orange and blue remake, with an orange trefoil and same coloured stripe and Sela sponsor. The Newcastle United crest is also housed within a shield and comes as a v-neck. It is also understood this will come with a long-sleeved version.
