Dan Burn drops into left-back against his former club in Targett’s absence, who is ruled out with a dead leg sustained in the opening day win over Nottingham Forest.

Jamaal Lascelles returns to the bench after withdrawing minutes before the Forest kick-off. Javier Manquillo also features in the matchday squad for the first time this season.
