Tottenham Hotspur are set to sign Richarlison from Everton in a deal worth £50million plus add-ons.

The Brazil international had set his sights on leaving Goodison Park this summer as his representatives reached out to a number of Premier League clubs.

NewcastleWorld understands the Magpies were one of the teams to be approached with Edde Howe in the market for a striker.

Spurs, however, have moved to seal Richarlison’s signature, with the 25-year-old set to undergo his medical in Brazil today. Personal terms have been agreed.

Richarlison joined the Toffees in 2018 from Watford for £50m and went to score 53 goals in 152 appearances on Merseyside.

Confirmation of Richarlison’s transger before July 1 (Friday) would assist Everton as they seek to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

Losses of £372.6m over the past three financial years have raisen questions from Leeds United and Burnley over any potential breaches of league rules.
