From the good, the bad and the ugly, Newcastle United supporters have waded through some transfer rumours this summer. And yet, despite all the links, the Magpies are yet to make a significant breakthrough in the transfer market.
William Osula arrived on Thursday but, as a third-choice striker and one for the future, he is hardly going to whet the appetite ahead of the new campaign. Marc Guehi is a high-profile name Newcastle are working on - with the Premier League opener just six days away.
