And it’s the French capital where a whole host of the Magpies’ first-team have headed after beaten Arsenal 2-0 in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi final on Tuesday night.
Winger Miguel Almiron was pictured in a Paris airport flagging a taxi, Sandro Tonali’s other half took to Instagram to share them both spending time in the French capital. But it was the social media snaps of Joelinton and other half Thays Gondim that caught the eye.
The pair whisked their way around the sites of Paris, getting pics with Eiffel Tower as well as taking in the Mona Lisa in the Louvre Museum.
Joelinton along with Tonali are not expected to play any part for the Magpies when they take on League Two Bromley in the third round of the FA Cup at St James’ Park on Sunday. Paraguayan Almiron might well be called upon, however, with his gametime limited so far this campaign.
