Hayden is back to full fitness having returned to training in recent weeks and is ready to begin playing again next season.
However, the former Arsenal youngster is aware that might not be on Tyneside, with United preparing for a busy summer transfer window.
Head coach Eddie Howe has admitted players will depart, meaning a number of players are waiting to learn their fate.
