‘Her sugar daddy’ - Former Newcastle United manager and Kim Kardashian in bizarre meeting - here’s what happened
Kim Kardashian was supporting her partner, Sir Lewis Hamilton, at the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this month.
Alan Pardew has revealed he bizarrely encountered reality TV queen Kim Kardashian at the recent Monaco Grand Prix.
Kardashian was cheering on her partner, Sir Lewis Hamilton, for the first time after the two went public with their relationship last year. Her appearance proved a productive formula as the seven-time world champion finished second behind Kimi Antonelli, who leads the Drivers' Championship standings.
Hamilton later went on to claim victory in Barcelona - earning his first F1 win since joining Ferrari in 2024. Former Newcastle United manager Pardew has opened up about a bizarre situation that saw him brush shoulders with Kardashian.
Alan Pardew on Kim Kardashian meeting
“How about me at Monaco?” Pardew told talkSPORT. “How about this? So the security guards were having a pop at me, trying to say to me the usual ‘Not there, not there sir, no, no.’
“I could see her walking towards (me) and I was like ‘Look, I’m just standing out of the way because she’s coming through with her entourage’. But no they weren’t having it and he literally pushed me straight into Kim.
“There I was next to her, walking alongside her like her sugar daddy, for a period… about a second! I was hoping somebody was going to take a picture but they didn’t.”
Alan Pardew backs Eddie Howe
Pardew also backed Eddie Howe as the best English manager despite a lacklustre campaign at St James’ Park. He added: “I still think Eddie (is), who had a difficult season last year. But when you look at his CV and what he’s done…
“He had a poor season last year. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but it was poor for them and the standards that he personally has set. I think the way he is with players and tactical acumen that he has is above the others, in my opinion.”
