Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka is believed to be on the radar of Leicester City. The stopper spent the first-half of this season on loan at Manchester United but is now back in the North East. According to reporter Ed Aarons on Twitter, the Foxes are interested in landing him this month and he is down the pecking order at St. James’ Park.

Winger update

The Toon Army are not trying to sign winger Marcus Thuram from Borussia Monchengladbach anymore this winter. The France international was at the World Cup last month and is out of contract at the end of this campaign meaning he is due to become a free agent. However, Football Insider claim Howe’s side are ‘not pursuing’ a deal for him now.

Midfielder message

Newcastle favourite Bruno Guimaraes has played a key role behind their impressive season and is looking forward to the test against Arsenal. The Brazilian has made 14 appearances so far this term in the league, chipping in with three goals and three assists. He has sent the following message to supporters on Twitter ahead of the trip to the Emirates Stadium (see below):
