Was unfortunate to see Rashford’s deflect off him and over Karius into the net. Well positioned to produce a couple of strong interceptions.
6. Dan Burn - 6
Headed a huge opportunity wide on 44 minutes. Struggled to offer Newcastle an attacking threat when chasing the game, but that’s because he isn’t an out-and-out left-back.
7. Bruno Guimaraes - 6
You can see why Newcastle missed him, even he has nothing to show for it. Always an option for his teammates. Kept it tidy in midfield.
8. Sean Longstaff - 5
Grafted, as he always does, but didn’t impact the game. Substituted for Alexander Isak at half-time.
