Eddie Howe made one enforced change from the side that beat Brentford last weekend with Joelinton coming in for Joe Willock.
The Brazilian oversaw United’s best chances of the afternoon with successive headers, one that cannoned off the crossbar and another that hit the post.
Man United piled on the pressure late on but Howe’s side will be delighted with a draw.
Here’s our writer Jordan Cronin’s player ratings from the goalless draw at Old Trafford:
Eddie Howe made one enforced change from the side that beat Brentford last weekend with Joelinton coming in for Joe Willock.

5. Dan Burn - 7
Feared Antony would get the better of Burn, who looks like a centre-back playing left-back, but the Blyth-born defender did his job.

6. Bruno Guimaraes - 7
Far from his magical best but Bruno’s knowhow was so impressive. Took the ball in tight areas and relieved the pressure on his teammates at the back.

7. Joelinton - 8
No excuses, Joelinton HAD to score when he had two successive headers in the first-half. He was sloppy at times but covered every blade of grass.

8. Sean Longstaff - 8
Again, was a little sloppy in possession but put himself about in the midfield and won some critical tackles. Commitment in abundance.
