Newcastle United celebrated their 3-1 victory against Southampton in true Geordie style- out on the Toon.

Yesterday, a group of Eddie Howe’s squad were spotted in Newcastle bar Jalou.

From the looks of it, Sven Botman, Jacob Murphy, Nick Pope and Matt Targett were seen partying in the popular haunt.

The team were most likely given the night off for their run of outstanding form throughout March and April, winning eight of their last nine matches. They also have a week off before they face title contenders Arsenal, who significantly face Chelsea tomorrow off the back of not winning their last four games.

Trippier was also spotted out on the town last night, albeit seemingly separate from his teammates. A fan posted to social media a photo of his daughter with United’s right-back at Victor’s on the Quayside.
