Newcastle United predicted line up vs 1860 Munich: 23 players who will play, six could miss out
The Newcastle United starting XI Eddie Howe will name to face 1860 Munich is a bit of a mystery, as it tends to be the case in pre-season.
Eddie Howe ensured a large majority of his squad played at least 45 minutes in the 5-1 win against Gateshead in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Saturday.
But in Austria, United plan to step up their preparations for the new season - starting with 1860 Munich before facing Mainz 05 on Monday.
Summer signings Nick Pope and Sven Botman are expected to be handed their first minutes in black and white after sitting out against The Heed.
Howe has taken 29 players with him to Austria, so it seems eventually some will be left out or handed minimal minutes.
NewcastleWorld takes a look at the players Howe could name in his starting XI and the players at risk of not playing at all against the German third-tier side.
