Newcastle United head into this afternoon's Premier League clash away to Luton Town with a number of injury concerns (kick-off 3pm).
Emil Krafth and Anthony Gordon were on the end of contentious tackles by Mosies Caicedo and Levi Colwill, respectively, during the midweek Carabao Cup quarter-final exit to Chelsea.
Krafth withdrew at half-time because of a gash on his shin while Gordon was brought off just moments into the second half.
“We’re going to see how they are this morning," Magpies head coach Eddie Howe said on Friday. "Anthony was sore, it was a horrible challenge on him I thought having reviewed it. Really disappointed with the tackle. He’s sore but we’ll see how he is today, hopefully he’ll improve quickly.
"Emil had a really nasty cut on his shin which went quite deep. It required stitches, so he’s quite sore as well.”
Prior to the 4-2 penalty shootout defeat at Stamford Bridge, United lost Fabian Schar (glute) and Joelinton (hamstring) during the first-half of Saturday's 3-0 win over Fulham.
The pair underwent scans on Monday and didn't feature in West London. Howe says their injuries aren't serious with a decision on their involvement against Luton still to be made.
Howe said: "The scans painted a similar picture, nothing too serious with either. Joe’s slightly more than Fabby but again, we’ll make a decision on both players leading up to this game."
Alexander Isak has missed the last two matches after feeling the after-effects of a recent groin issue. The Swede is rated as '50/50' for the visit to Kenilworth Road.
“50/50 at this moment," said Howe. "He’s obviously missed the last two games so he was feeling something in his groin.
"On the scan, there wasn’t necessarily an injury just more tiredness around the muscle. That will be down to the medical team."

2. RB: Kieran Trippier (in for Emil Krafth)
Trippier endured torrid night at Stamford Bridge in midweek as he goes through a difficult phase of his Newcastle career. But the England man is not one to hide, and he retains the full support of Howe.
3. CB: Jamaal Lascelles
Newcastle’s skipper was a rock v Chelsea on Tuesday. He was dominant in the air, and he’ll need to repeat that against a physical Luton side.
4. CB: Fabian Schar
Returns to the starting XI after missing the defeat against Chelsea with a glute injury.
