Eddie Howe has some major calls to make before he finalises his plans for Newcastle United's home game against Premier League rivals West Ham United.
The Magpies manager will be relieved after the likes of Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon returned from international duty unscathed - although there was a blow delivered by the news Sven Botman is likely to remain on the sidelines until the midway point of next season after undergoing surgery on a knee injury.
There are a number of players already ruled out of action as the likes of Nick Pope, Callum Wilson and Joelinton battle their way back from injuries and Lewis Miley has now joined them in the treatment room after suffering a lower back injury on international duty with England Under-19s.
However, there are still some big decisions for Howe to make as he looks to help his side move on from consecutive defeats against Chelsea and Manchester City.
