Newcastle United predicted XI vs Brighton as Eddie Howe is dealt major fitness blow

Newcastle United travel to Brighton today in the Premier League looking to get three points on the south coast.

Newcastle United head to the Amex Stadium this afternoon in search of three Premier League points, having failed to win either of their last two matches.

Having opened up with an impressive 5-1 win over Aston Villa on the opening day, the Magpies then drew a blank against Manchester City which was then followed by a final 10 minute capitulation against 10-man Liverpool at St James’ Park.

Today’s fixture sees United take on Roberto De Zebri’s men, who themselves lost 3-1 to West Ham United on home turf last weekend.

Head coach Eddie Howe has a number of selection decisions to make, with a key first-team duo Joelinton and Sven Botman rated as doubtful due to injury. The pair are both set to face late fitness tests down on the south coast. Will both play or will Howe be forced into changes?

Here’s our Newcastle United predicted XI for the clash.
