Denayer situation

Newcastle are said to be doing their homework on former Sunderland star Jason Denayer ahead of the summer.

The centre-back is out of contract at Olympique Lyon this summer, and the Magpies are said to be keen on snapping him up on a free transfer.

Het Nieuwsblad via TEAMTalk have reported that Newcastle have already gathered information on Denayer ahead of a possible move.

Newcastle are said to be one of the teams considering a move for Real Madrid star Eden Hazard ahead of this summer.

Hazard has struggled with injuries and poor form since his move to Los Blancos from Chelsea for more than £100million in 2019.

Real Madrid are likely to strengthen their front line this summer and could well cut their losses on Hazard.

With that in mind, FootMercato have linked Newcastle and Arsenal with a move for Hazard.
