Outgoings were the focus last month as the Magpies continue to work under strict PSR regulations. Miguel Almiron and Lloyd Kelly were moved on, with Newcastle opting against signing replacements as they keep their powder dry for the summer.
United are expected to announce record revenues in the coming weeks. Reports suggest Newcastle could publish figures around £315million - a 25.6 per cent increase from last year.

NewcastleWorld asked for clarity on the situation ahead of the Magpies’ trip to Birmingham City tomorrow. The club confirmed that Eales will update supporters on the PSR picture soon.
Howe has publicly admitted his dismay at the current regulations which forced Newcastle to sell two highly-rated prospects last June. Facing a potential Premier League points deduction, Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh were frantically offloaded.
“The last thing we want to do, or I want to do as the manager of the club, is to sell academy products who have the potential to play for this team for many years,” he said earlier this year. “Elliot was a case in point - it was the last sale we wanted to make.

But we were faced with literally no other option at that moment with 48 hours to go, we had to make a decision that we did not want to make.
“It will always be our last choice to do that. But, when you add up everything together and you go, 'Well, it's a points deduction and breaching PSR or making a sale’, I think you have to make the sale.”
