Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes facing UEFA ban after PSG & Borussia Dortmund incidents
Newcastle United can qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League against AC Milan on Wednesday night (kick-off 8pm) - but will need a favour from Borussia Dortmund.
The Magpies were seconds away from claiming a famous win against Paris Saint-Germain last time out but a controversial penalty scored by Kylian Mbappe in the 98th minute saw the game finish in a 1-1 draw.

Even if PSG are to pip United to second place, Howe's men know that avoiding defeat will guarantee a spot in the next phase of the Europa League, which also commences in February.
That means Bruno Guimaraes could be walking a disciplinary tightrope against the Serie A giants tomorrow evening as a yellow card would force the Brazilian to sit out the next European match in 2022-23.
As per Article 52.03 of UEFA regulations: "Single yellow cards and pending suspensions are always carried forward either to the next stage of the competition, to the UEFA Europa League or to the UEFA Europa Conference League in the current season."

The 26-year-old has played every minute of Newcastle's five Group F fixtures. Since the midfielder made his full debut in March 2022, United have not won any of their six Premier League matches without him.
The former Lyon man last missed the 2-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth last month after accumulating five Premier League yellow cards.
