Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United squad are feeling the physical effects of three games in six games.
It’s been a busy period after the two-week international break but the Magpies have responded by claiming maximum points against Manchester United, West Ham United and Brentford.
That has extended United’s winning run to five, further underlining their Champions League qualification credentials ahead of the remaining nine fixtures.
Next up is Aston Villa, who are one of the Premier League’s most in-form teams. Unai Emery has won 10 of his 16 games since taking charge at Villa, and is seven matches unbeaten.

The Swede has been sidelined since August with an ACL injury. Expected return date: 2023-24 Premier League season.
3. Miguel Almiron - groin
