Newcastle United star’s unexpected interest revealed via ‘inspired’ birthday cake

Dan Burn celebrated his 31st birthday last week with a very unexpected twist- a novelty theme.

The Geordie was spotted out on the Bigg Market after Newcastle United’s defeat at home to Arsenal, it seems the birthday celebrations didn’t stop there.

Local cake makers, Sticky Sponge, shared a photo to social media last night of the defender smiling in front of his cowboy themed birthday cake.

Posting to Twitter, the bakers said: ‘We had the absolute honour of being able to make this Yellowstone inspired cake for Newcastle United player Dan Burn for his birthday. Happy Birthday Dan!!!’

Yellowstone is an incredibly popular American TV drama which follows a family and their ranch. And Burn must love the neo-cowboy show so much to award it such a prominent place.

Who knows, maybe Big Dan Burn is hinting at his plans for his future after football. He’d suit being on horseback, so long as they can find a horse big enough...
