Newcastle United sweating over trio’s fitness ahead of Burnley trip
Newcastle United are set to make late calls on Fabian Schar, Chris Wood and Ryan Fraser ahead of Sunday’s season finale at Burnley.
Schar went off with concussion during the 2-0 win over Arsenal on 49 minutes and was replaced by captain Jamaal Lascelles.

Hide AdThe Magpies have been following the concussion protocols - and will a decision closer to kick-off at Turf Moor, which is at 4pm.
Chris Wood, hoping to face his former club, missed the last game with a hip problem.
Meanwhile, Ryan Fraser felt his hamstring after coming on as a sub against the Gunners having only just returned from the same issue.
Howe, speaking to the media ahead of Sunday, said: “Ryan Fraser might be out of the game.

Hide Ad“He came on but had slight awareness in his hamstring, I don’t think it’s a re-injure but there is awareness in his hamstring again.”
On Wood, Howe said: “We’re going to try him today in training and see how he looks.
“At the time, we didn’t think it was a serious injury so fingers crossed he gets through training today.”
On Schar, Howe added: “Fabian we haven’t seen. We’re following concussion protocols.
“I believe he is going to do something outside today but we’ll follow the protocols closely. I think there will be a late decision on Fabian.”
