Leeds United are set to confirm Cody Drameh’s loan move to Championship side Luton Town.
Newcastle United have considered signing a young right-back this month after Emil Krafth picked up an ACL injury in August.

The Sweden international’s long-term absence has left the Magpies short in that position with Javier Manquillo the only back-up to option to Kieran Trippier.
Drameh, alongside West Ham United’s Harrison Ashby and Real Valladolid’s Ivan Fresneda, were identified as potential targets at the beginning of January.
However, United can cross Drameh off the list - for now - with Leeds deciding to loan the player to Luton for the rest of the 2022-23 campaign.

Whites boss Jesse Marsch did not name the club, but it’s been widely reported that the 21-year-old is off to Kenilworth Road.
“Cody Drameh, I think there’ll be an announcement about his loan later today,” Marsch said. But, he will be going out on loan. Yes, I’ll give you that.”

The former Fulham academy star spent last season on loan at Cardiff City but has featured just three times for Leeds since returning.
Speaking last month, Marsch admitted Drameh had considered his future at Leeds due to a lack of first-team involvement.

Marsch said: “So, we had Cody in (training) at the end of last year (following his loan at Cardiff) and he wasn’t convinced that this was going to be the right place for him to come back.
“And then he came into pre-season, and he’s kind of worked through the year, played with the 21s a lot. And I think the idea of being here has grown on him a lot.
“Maybe it could have gone differently if that feeling was there from the beginning, but we’re in a good place now with Cody and I like him a lot.”
Drameh is out-of-contract at Elland Road next summer.
