Newcastle United triple injury blow confirmed as 12 players ruled out Everton clash

The 12 players Newcastle United are without for the Premier League clash against Everton.

Newcastle United are without 12 players for tonight's Premier League clash against Everton (kick-off 7:30pm).

Eddie Howe's side came from 3-1 down to beat West Ham United 4-3 on Saturday after braces from Alexander Isak and substitute Harvey Barnes cancelled out goals from Michail Antonio, Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen.

However, the victory - which saw United move up to eighth in the table one point behind the Hammers in seventh - came at some cost with three fresh injury injuries and a suspension blow.

On Sunday, the Magpies confirmed that Jamaal Lascelles had sustained an ACL injury during the opening 16 minutes and as a result will be sidelined for six to nine months.

Tino Livramento (ankle) and Miguel Almiron (knee) were forced to withdraw in the second-half and neither player is involved against the Toffees due to their respective injuries. A timescale on their recovery has not yet been confirmed.

It was hoped Kieran Trippier would return from a calf injury but has now missed the last four matches.

Speaking on Saturday, Howe said: "Kieran is improving. A difficult injury for him. An injury to the calf, one we have to be very careful with and we'd hoped he'd be fit in and around this game but we'll have to wait and see how he goes during this week.

"He's desperate to be involved, he knows what's at stake for us towards the end of the season and his qualities are obvious. We're desperate to have him back but it has to be at the right time."

Newcastle are also without the suspended Anthony Gordon following his two yellow cards against West Ham and in total are without 12 players tonight. Here's the full list:
