Newcastle United are set to welcome Crystal Palace in gameweek six in the Premier League this weekend.

Newcastle almost pulled off a huge scalp in midweek as they lost to Liverpool, only to lose the game in the 98th minute with the last kick of the game.

Record signing Alexander Isak could make his home debut at St James Park, after scoring on his league debut in the Liverpool defeat.

The midweek defeat leaves Newcastle 11th in the table, which could be an indicator of their season.

Where is the game being played?

The game between the two sides will be played at St James Park, and will kick off at 3pm.

This fixture last season saw a first half Miguel Almiron strike prove decisive as Newcastle ran out 1-0 winners, in a game that saw them extend their unbeaten run at home to six at the time.

How can I watch Newcastle vs Crystal Palace?

To comply with the regulation on televised coverage between 2:45PM & 5:15PM on a Saturday, Newcastle and Crystal Palace will not be televised. Further broadcasting rights are restricted for clubs in the UK, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

The game falls within the period that is commonly referred to as the ‘3pm blackout’. It was phased in during the 60s, and is thought to boost non-league attendances, something which is vital to clubs at that level of the English pyramid.

Fans can keep up with the game still. Gillette Soccer Saturday, hosted by Jeff Stelling provides live updates of all games taking place in the UK.

Local radio stations may also provide live commentary.

To watch the highlights later on, fans can tune in to Match of the Day, which will air live on BBC One at 10:25pm on Saturday, 3 September 2022.

If you miss that, do not worry, as the show will be shown once again at around 7am the morning after.

The highlights will also be uploaded to the YouTube channel of both clubs, but there is no time scale on this.
