Newcastle United v Everton team news: 11 players ruled out & five doubts as fresh injury bombshell confirmed

Newcastle United v Everton team news ahead of Tuesday's Premier League clash at St James' Park.

Newcastle United face a very quick turnaround as they welcome Everton to St James' Park on Tuesday night (kick-off 7:30pm).

Tyneside is still buzzing from Saturday's dramatic win over West Ham United, which the Magpies come from 3-1 down to win 4-3. Alexander Isak scored twice from the penalty spot and substitute Harvey Barnes bagged a brace inside the closing stages to cancel out goals from Michail Antonio, Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen.

But Eddie Howe's side must swiftly refocus as they eye back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since December. And United's starting XI is likely to be patched up after more worrying news on the injury front.

Club skipper Jamaal Lascelles was forced off just 17 minutes in against the Hammers and further assessment on Sunday revealed the defender has suffered an ACL injury, ruling him out for six to nine months - the same timescale Sven Botman was given for same injury.

But Lascelles wasn't the only concern. Both Tino Livramento (ankle) and Miguel Almiron (knee) withdrew in the second-half with Howe unable to provide a clear prognosis after the game.

With a number of other stars sidelined, we take a look at the latest injury news from both Newcastle and Everton ahead of the meeting at St James' Park:
