Newcastle United v Manchester United team news: Two doubts & 17 ruled out of Premier League clash.

Newcastle United return to Premier League action against Manchester United on Saturday evening - just four days after Tuesday's robbery in Paris.

Eddie Howe's men were moments away from earning a famous Champions League victory against Paris Saint-Germain when a penalty was awarded to the home side in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Initially, referee Szymon Marciniak waved away PSG's appeals for handball until VAR stepped in and instructed the Polish official to review his decision on the VAR monitor.

Replays showed Ousmane Dembele's cross hit the chest of Tino Livramento before striking his elbow but Marciniak pointed to the spot.

Kylian Mbappe kept his cool from 12 yards, with a number of pundits and former pros expressing their disbelief at the decision.

Eddie Howe admitted after the game he felt a sense of injustice but you won't see the Magpies' head coach sulking as he prepares his players for the visit of Man United, who drew 3-3 in Galatasaray in midweek.

Newcastle played 90 minutes with the same 11 players in France but their bench will be bolstered by the return of Matt Ritchie and Emil Krafth to the matchday squad.

But Howe remains without several key players through injury, and the same goes for the Red Devils.

Here, NewcastleWorld runs through the full list of players ruled out of Saturday's clash, and those that are doubtful:
