Newcastle United could be without one of their star performers for this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa (kick-off 2pm).
As reported by NewcastleWorld, Sean Longstaff is a doubt after picking up an injury during Thursday night’s 4-1 win at Everton.
The Geordie midfielder was sent for a scan on Friday amid fears he may have broken a bone in his ankle or foot. It’s hoped Longstaff will avoid such damage but if that is to be the case then it’s likely he’ll miss the remaining six games.
