Newcastle United’s all-time top goal scorers including Jackie Milburn and Pop Robson
Newcastle United may be in a bit of a dry spell, but that hasn’t always been the case.
Despite having 102 shots on target in their last eight league games, Newcastle United are struggling to put the ball in the back of the net.
Converting only three of those chances, it’s no secret the Mags are experiencing a bit of a dry spell.
But Newcastle United have a history of leading goal scorers.
One of them even- no surprises who- remains the all-time top scorer in the Premier League to this very day.
Here he is, alongside the other top strikers of Newcastle United.

1. Alan Shearer, 206 goals
Of course, the Geordie legend is the all-time top scorer for Newcastle United with 206 goals. He played for the club between 1996-2006. Shearer is also still the top scorer in the Premier League with 260 goals to his name.

2. Jackie Milburn, 200 goals
Wor Jackie joined the club in 1943 until 1957, scoring 200 goals for his home team. He was top goal scorer until Shearer dethroned him in 2006. Helping the team to three FA Cup wins, he is still a legend of Newcastle football.

3. Len White, 153 goals
Len played for Newcastle United between 1953-1962, amassing 153 goals. Largely thought to be in Milburn’s shadow, the pair were unstoppable and are the reason the club won the FA Cup in 55.

4. Hughie Gallacher, 143 goals
The Scot was at the club for five years between 1925-30, scoring an impressive 143 goals. The ex-miner scored 15 goals in his first nine games.
