Newcastle United’s confirmed starting XI v West Ham: One change as Callum Wilson & Joelinton calls made

Newcastle United’s confirmed starting XI v West Ham United: One change as Callum Wilson returns to the matchday squad.

Eddie Howe has made one change to his Newcastle United starting XI for this afternoon’s Premier League clash against West Ham United at the London Stadium (kick-off 2pm).

With Anthony Gordon forced to serve a one-match suspension after reaching five yellow cards, Elliot Anderson is brought back into the line-up on the left-hand side of attack.

The rest of the team remains the same from Wednesday night’s 4-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Nick Pope starts in between the sticks with Kieran Trippier, Jamaal Lascelles, Fabian Schar and Dan Burn continuing as the back four. Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali and Sean Longstaff form the midfield three as Alexander Isak, Miguel Almiron and Anderson start in attack.

Callum Wilson, who has scored 12 goals in 13 Premier League games against West Ham, returns to the matchday squad after missing the last three games against Manchester City, Burnley and PSG.
