Here’s the Newcastle United starting XI we’re predicting Howe to name against Mikel Arteta’s Gunners.
1. GK: Martin Dubravka
The Slovakian is set to make his 25th consecutive start tonight. He’s been United’s undisputed number one since Howe arrived having stayed injury free.
2. RB: Kieran Trippier (in for Emil Krafth)
Having made his return from the bench at Man City last week, it seems inevitable that the England international will start tonight. He’s certainly be desperate too. Photo: Stu Forster
3. CB: Fabian Schar (in for Jamaal Lascelles)
Schar didn’t train in the build up to Man City, so didn’t start. He trained last week however, which likely means a return to the starting XI.
4. CB: Dan Burn
