The Magpies have been flying high this year...

Newcastle United’s recent upturn in form under Eddie Howe has been quite remarkable.

The Toon Army spent much of the first half of the campaign embroiled in a tense relegation battle, and looked destined to be one of the sides scrapping for survival come the end of the season.

Since the turn of the year, however, the Magpies have been almost unrecognisable in their success.

Howe’s men now boast an unbeaten record stretching back eight matches, and have won five of their last six top flight outings.

Those results have been enough to drag them seven points clear of the drop zone, but how does their form compare to the rest of the division?
