Newcastle United have spent a big total in the summer transfer window.
The Magpies were always expected to spend significantly to improve their squad, with this being the first summer under their new ownership.

Hide AdBut they spent smartly, spending big on Alexander Isak and Sven Botman, but their other two signings, Matt Targett and Nick Pope, were far more affordable.
Still, Newcastle’s total spending bill has still risen to more than £100million, with the transfer window now shut.
