Newcastle United have spent around £60million so far in this summer’s transfer window on three senior additions.
The Magpies kickstarted their summer business with the permanent arrival of Matt Targett in a deal worth £13m from Aston Villa.
England goalkeeper Nick Pope was the next to arrive from Burnley, with United paying around £12m for his services.
And in Sven Botman, Eddie Howe’s side finally got their man, after a six-month-long chase ended in the Netherlands defender becoming a Newcastle player.
