Newcastle United could be without a staggering 13 first-team players for Saturday's Premier League clash against Chelsea (kick-off 3pm).
Competing on three fronts - the Premier League, Champions League and League Cup - has come at a cost to the Magpies with a relentless fixture schedule resulting in a growing injury list.
United boss Eddie Howe will definitely be without Sandro Tonali (banned), Jacob Murphy (shoulder), Dan Burn (back), Elliot Anderson (back), Sven Botman (knee), Harvey Barnes (toe), Callum Wilson (hamstring), Matt Targett (hamstring) through injury this weekend, while Lewis Hall is ineligible to face his former club.
Howe is hopeful of welcoming back Alexander Isak and Miguel Almiron, however midfielder Sean Longstaff is a doubt with an ankle issue.
Nevertheless, Newcastle's injury crisis is their worst for years, and NewcastleWorld takes a look at how their current list of absentees compares to other Premier League clubs.
