Newcastle United’s stunning form - compared to the other 91 Premier League and EFL clubs

The Magpies have surged away from the Premier League relegation zone over the last two months.

Newcastle United all but secured their Premier League status when they claimed a 3-0 win at relegation-threatened Norwich City last weekend.

A brace from Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes’ delicate dink over Tim Krul gave the Magpies a deserved three points against the Canaries and moved them into the top half of the table.

That is all a far cry from the previous meeting of the two sides as they both sat in the bottom three after battling to a 1-1 draw at St James Park back in November.

Since that chilly Tyneside night, when the Magpies earned a share of the spoils despite playing for over 80 minutes with ten men, Eddie Howe’s side have changed beyond recognition and head into the final weeks of the season with a genuine chance to secure a top ten finish after a stunning upturn in form.

Ahead of Saturday’s home clash with title contenders Liverpool, Newcastle World looks at how the Magpies form over the last ten games compares to other clubs in the Premier League and Football League.
