Newcastle United will resume their push for a place in Europe when they host West Ham United on Saturday lunchtime.
As it stands, Eddie Howe's men sit 16 points adrift of the Champions League places and an immediate return to European football's top table is all but out of reach. However, United remain in the hunt for a spot in next season's Europa League and Europa Conference League and that could prove crucial in their bid to add to their squad during what is expected to be a hectic summer of transfer activity at St James Park.
