

Newcastle United’s surprise agent fees spend - compared to Leeds, Norwich & Premier League rivals
The FA has revealed how much Newcastle United and their Premier League rivals have paid in agent fees over the last 12 months.
A staggering total of £272,559,227 combined has been spent on intermediaries and agents by all 20 top-flight clubs between February 2, 2021 to January 31, 2022.
During that time, the Magpies loaned Joe Willock from Arsenal before signing him permanently last summer for £20million.
In January gone, the new owners of PCP Partners, the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and RB Sports & Media invested around £90million to bring Kieran Trippier (Atletico Madrid), Chris Wood (Burnley), Bruno Guimaraes (Lyon), Dan Burn (Brighton) and Matt Targett (Aston Villa, loan).
