Newcastle United’s updated predicted Premier League finish compared to Leeds United, West Ham, and more

The experts have had their say on the rest of Newcastle’s campaign.

After a disrupted September, the Premier League returned this weekend with a full round up fixtures.

Newcastle United ran out 4-1 winners in a stunning display against in-form Fulham at Craven Cottage to leapfrog Marco Silva’s men in the table.

Goals from Callum Wilson, Sean Longstaff, and a brace from Miguel Almiron were enough to secure all three points against the Cottagers, who were reduced to 10 men in the eighth minute when Nathanial Chalobah was shown a red card.

The Magpies are now seventh in the table, with 11 points from eight matches.

But how have the weekend’s developments affected United’s prospects for the season?

We’ve taken a look at the latest predicted table from stats gurus FiveThirtyEight to find out.
