Newcastle United appear to be closing in on a managerial appointment, just a day after reported No.1 target Unai Emery knocked the club back.
Eddie Howe looks set to be handed the reins at St James’ Park, a little more than two weeks after was announced Steve Bruce would leave the club via ‘mutual consent’.
