Newcastle United welcomed back both Alexander Isak and Joe Willock against Arsenal - but still remain without some key players ahead two matches next week.
Isak started Saturday night's 4-1 defeat away to the Gunners on Saturday night after missing the previous three games with a recurring groin issue. The Swede got through an hour at the Emirates unscathed and is likely to start the FA Cup fifth round clash at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Willock marked his comeback after three months out with a consolation goal. The 24-year-old was introduced for the final quarter of an hour in North London and headed home Dan Burn's cross having watched his side trail to an own goal from Sven Botman, and strikes from Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and Jakub Kiwior.
Newcastle's visit to capital saw a change in between the sticks with Loris Karius making his first appearance for 12 months, and his first in the Premier League since May 2018. It came after Martin Dubravka was ruled out through illness while No.1 Nick Pope continues his recovery from shoulder surgery.
Elsewhere across the team, Tino Livramento was selected ahead of Dan Burn at left-back. Eddie Howe revealed after the game Livramento had suffered a knock early on but played.
