Is this the Newcastle United 25-man Premier League squad Eddie Howe will name - with surprise omission for midfielder?
Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe must name his 25-man Premier League squad by the end of the week.
The January arrivals of Kieran Trippier, Chris Wood, Bruno Guimaraes, Matt Targett and Dan Burn will see five players removed from the squad that was submitted at the start of the season.
Indeed, the loan departures of Freddie Woodman and Jeff Hendrick have already made space – but which other three players will follow?
NewcastleWorld predicts the 25-man squad Howe will go with for the second-half of the campaign, including the trio of players who could be left out:

1. Martin Dubravka

2. Karl Darlow

3. Mark Gillespie
Gillespie, as accepted, is third choice and at best, will come in matchday squad if Dubravka or Darlow are unavailable. Photo: Pool

4. Emil Krafth
Krafth has his critics on Tyneside but versatility works in the Sweden international's favour Can play as a centre-half or right-back. Photo: Stu Forster
