Newcastle United's strongest starting XI to face Everton - with decision made on new signings

The January transfer window slammed shut earlier on Monday – with Newcastle United adding five new signings to their ranks.

Kieran Trippier was the first to arrive from Atletico Madrid and Chris Wood wasn’t far behind the England international.

The signing of Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon was a statement of intent for United given the Brazilian was being tracked by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

And the club’s winter business was rounded off on deadline day with Matt Targett joining on loan from Aston Villa and Dan Burn a £13m addition from Brighton and Hove Albion.

The big question is now, what is the strongest starting XI available to Eddie Howe ahead of that Everton game at St James’ Park on Tuesday?
